The boss battle and the whole ending that took place here was good, not great in my opinion though. The Moon Kingdom has no personality whatsoever, and I know that the reason for this was to really make you feel like your on the moon, because the moon is all empty space and stuff, but I never really enjoyed my time here.

Second of all, the Moon Kingdom is just dark, empty, and linear. Moon Kingdom - First of all, I disliked the whole low-gravity gimmick, just didn't really feel that great. I really wish the Dark Side of the Moon was actually taken out of the game because it is highly rushed and not very pleasant in general.ġ6. The whole Dark Side of the Moon in general just feels rushed to me, as almost everything to do there is just repeated from earlier challenges. And I didn't really like how there were carved vegetables in the moon rock and all these rabbits everywhere, just felt a little bit creepy to me. I didn't enjoy the whole hint-art thing either, because it made me feel like Nintendo was just adding 'filler' moons into the game. Even worse: every single room in the Dark Side of the Moon was just taken from a challenge earlier in the game and altered to become more difficult, so basically everything in the Dark Side was just repeated from earlier. I do welcome a challenge, but one moon in particular was just way too frustrating to be considered a genuine challenge. Once you defeat the bosses, you have six challenges to complete, each being very difficult. Now, I know that many people are fond of the low-gravity mechanic, but I really dislike it, and just makes things feel, well, slower, I guess. In order to access any other power moon in this game, you must first defeat all four broodals and then an additional boss. Dark Side of the Moon - I don't really know if this counts as a kingdom or not, but either way, this level is awful. I hope you enjoy reading my own list, and feel free to comment on what you agree or disagree about! And remember, this is my opinion, so please take the list with a grain of salt! :)ġ7. I have seen other people rank the kingdoms from worst to best in their opinion, prompting me to make one myself, because I had a lot of fun reading through their own opinions. Some kingdoms had great level design and great platforming, while some were a little bit small, and some were just plain awful to me. Since I have collected all the moons, I have explored practically everything Odyssey has to offer, and have explored all Kingdoms to the fullest, which is why I feel like my opinion on which Kingdoms are the best and which are the worst are valid. I have collected all 880 moons in the game and almost every single one was so fun and rewarding to find and collect.

Super Mario Odyssey is one of my favorite games of all time and has some pretty great kingdoms to explore.
